I have been using the unit for several weeks to offset humidity created by several large aquaria. It does a great job at reducing humidity. It also looks very nice. The water removal tray is easy to use. I have not used any other dehumidifiers, but this one seems pretty quiet to me.

I plan put it in the kitchen and run it while cooking to get rid of the smell. Don't get me wrong I love the smell of food but not on me or my clothes or on the drapes and curtains. I don't mind draining the bucket or cleaning the filters. Also helps my allergies and helps me to sleep better.
